Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and receiving of food supplies
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and conducting performance evaluations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments to maintain profitability
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals while maintaining a positive work environment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with menu planning and development
- Biometric passport preferred
- Fluent in English
Salary: 1800$ per month (tax-free)
