Office Assistant - Contract Position in Sharjah, UAE

As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the office team. Your main duties will include answering phone calls, organizing and maintaining files, managing office supplies, scheduling appointments and meetings, and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time-management skills. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an office setting and be comfortable using various computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Fluency in English is required for this role.

This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month. The company will also provide accommodation for the duration of the contract. This opportunity is open to all nationalities, but proficiency in English is necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and redirecting them to the appropriate staff member
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate meeting or office
- Maintaining office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering new supplies as needed
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and invoice processing
- Scheduling appointments and meetings for staff members
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an office setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
