Cashier (Indian/Malayalee)


A busy retail store in Sharjah is seeking a competent and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory. Our ideal candidate is an Indian or Malayalee national with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the manager
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Follow all safety and security procedures while handling cash

Requirements:
- Indian or Malayalee nationality preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
