Part-Time Librarian Assistant (Sharjah, UAE)
We are currently seeking a part-time Librarian Assistant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a part-time job without any prior experience or English language proficiency. As a librarian assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the library's collection and providing excellent customer service to library patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials.
- Help with cataloging new materials and ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Monitor the library's computer systems and assist patrons with using them as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized library environment for maximum efficiency.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and responding to emails.
Requirements:
- Must be based in Sharjah, UAE.
- Must have a valid visa sponsorship or residency permit.
- No prior experience or English proficiency required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate should be able to work 20 hours per week.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
