Cashier (Malayalee) in Sharjah, UAE
We are a well-established retail store in Sharjah, looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized and clean checkout area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their purchases in a friendly and professional manner
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register
- Accept payments by cash, credit/debit card, or other approved methods
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and labeled
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Cashier in a retail environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Malayalam is an advantage)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and change quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with 6 days working week. The salary offered is 1400$ per month along with other benefits such as health insurance, annual leave, air ticket allowance (after completion of 2 years), etc.
