Merchandiser for Retail Store in Sharjah
We are a leading retail store in Sharjah looking for a talented and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for merchandising and a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the buying team to determine product selection and placement within the store
- Create visually appealing displays that highlight new products, promotions, and seasonal items
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking
- Conduct market research to stay informed on current trends and customer preferences
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge and visual merchandising techniques
- Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and make necessary adjustments
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences in the UAE is preferred
