Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, a diverse and growing city located in the United Arab Emirates. As an Indian or African national with a valid biometric passport, you will bring your unique cultural background and culinary expertise to our kitchen. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing inventory and budgets, and leading a team of talented chefs. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine through in every dish you create, while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. This is an urgent position with a competitive salary of $900 per month, without accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative menus that appeal to our diverse clientele
- Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and cost-effectiveness
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers for high-quality ingredients
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve excellence in food preparation
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor and maintain budgetary goals while maximizing profitability
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that meet customer demands
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Knowledge of international cuisine preferred (Indian or African cuisine is a plus)
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport from India or Africa
