Industrial Engineer - Process Improvement Specialist (Abu Dhabi, UAE)



As an Industrial Engineer - Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes in order to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will work closely with production teams and management to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline operations.

Key responsibilities:
- Utilize your knowledge of engineering principles, statistical analysis, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies in manufacturing processes
- Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, including the use of automation and new technologies
- Monitor production metrics and conduct time studies to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure smooth implementation
- Train production teams on new processes and procedures to maximize efficiency
- Continuously review processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and make recommendations to management
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis tools, and process mapping techniques
- Experience with CAD software is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of implementing successful process improvement projects resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (candidates from India preferred)
Employment type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
