Logistics Coordinator
We are in need of a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the transportation and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is required. This position is suitable for men with a biometric passport. Accommodation will be provided.
As a Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Managing inventory levels and tracking shipments.
- Ensuring all necessary documentation and permits are obtained for international shipments.
- Monitoring transportation costs and negotiating rates with carriers.
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding order status or delays.
- Identifying potential issues or delays and implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination or related field.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
