Merchandiser for Fashion Retail Store in Dubai

We are a leading fashion retail store in Dubai seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability. You will work closely with buyers, suppliers, and store managers to ensure that our products are visually appealing, well-stocked, and strategically placed in-store.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Analyze sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product placement and inventory levels
- Work closely with buyers to select product assortments that align with the company's brand vision
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices and delivery terms
- Ensure that products are displayed in an attractive manner that reflects the brand's aesthetic
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store managers to replenish inventory as needed
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure visual merchandising standards are being met
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in the fashion retail industry
- Strong understanding of retail math and inventory management principles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions based on findings
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. Candidates must have their own visa for this role. Fluency in English is required.
