Housekeeping Manager

As a Housekeeping Manager at our luxury hotel in Umm-Said, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department. Your main duties will include training and supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Train, supervise, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain high-quality standards
- Order supplies and equipment as needed for the department
- Handle guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage of supplies
- Create schedules for deep cleaning of guest rooms and public areas
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleaning standards
- Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team effectively
- Familiarity with health codes and regulations related to housekeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
