Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Doha. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of all pastry and dessert items for our restaurant. You will be responsible for managing a team of pastry chefs, ensuring high quality and consistency in all products, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation of all pastry and dessert items, including cakes, pastries, breads, ice creams, and more
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of pastry chefs
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all products
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Monitor food costs to ensure budget targets are met
- Collaborate with the executive chef to plan menus and special events
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Creative flair for developing new recipes and menu items
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
