Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our restaurant in El-Ain. Your main duties will include preparing ingredients, baking and decorating pastries, and managing inventory. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow recipes accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decorations
- Creativity and artistic skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Fluency in English (Malayalee or Egyptian nationality preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for pastries according to recipes
- Bake pastries, cakes, and other desserts following established techniques
- Decorate pastries with creative designs using icing, fruits, and other toppings
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and report any shortages or needs
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new pastry offerings
- Assist with training new pastry staff
