Cashier (Indian Nationals) in Sharjah, UAE



We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter
- Accurately scan and process items for purchase using the POS system
- Collect payments from customers in the form of cash, credit/debit cards or vouchers
- Issue receipts, change and refunds as necessary
- Maintain clean and organized checkout counters to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves when needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints or concerns in a professional manner

Requirements:

- Indian national currently residing in Sharjah, UAE
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; relevant certification or training will be an asset
- Minimum 1 year of cashier experience in a retail environment preferred
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively
- Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
