Seasonal Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine in El-Ain
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in El-Ain for a seasonal position. As the head chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu featuring authentic Indian cuisine, as well as managing the kitchen staff and ensuring food quality and consistency. Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a menu featuring authentic Indian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Ensure food quality and consistency through proper cooking techniques and recipe adherence
- Maintain inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and spice combinations
- Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain open communication
- Understanding of food cost control measures and inventory management
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certificate
- Previous experience working in seasonal positions
- Ability to communicate fluently in Hindi or another Indian language
Salary: $1200 per month (tax-free) along with accommodation provided by the company.
