Chef de Cuisine (Malayalee/Egyptian) - English Speaking
Our luxury hotel in El-Ain is seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and execution of all dishes in our kitchen. This position is open to talented individuals who are either Malayalee or Egyptian and fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus that showcase local flavors and cater to international guests
- Oversee the production of all dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food production
- Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and ordering supplies as needed to maintain budget
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the food service experience for guests
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef de Cuisine in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting
- Knowledge of Malayalee or Egyptian cuisine is preferred, but not required
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance effectively
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
