Cashier for Busy Retail Store in Al-Malikiyah, Syria

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our busy retail store in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling cash and credit payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cashier and possess strong math skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month, along with accommodation provided. Own visa jobs are preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service
- Accurately process customer purchases using cash register or POS system
- Handle cash and credit payments while following proper procedures
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and complete end-of-day reconciliation
- Ensure store shelves are fully stocked and tidy at all times
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a cashier preferred
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in Arabic (English proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
