Head Chef
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Dar Kulaib. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, managing the kitchen staff, and creating innovative and delicious menus. You should have a strong understanding of various cuisines, food safety and sanitation regulations, and excellent time management skills.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Creative with an eye for detail to develop new menu items
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that are both innovative and cost-effective
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain food quality standards
- Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines
- Oversee the preparation of all dishes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods
- Monitor food costs by tracking inventory levels and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
