Indian Executive Chef in Sharjah
As an Indian Executive Chef in Sharjah, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the menu and food preparation at our restaurant. Your main goal will be to provide our customers with an authentic Indian dining experience through your culinary expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Create new dishes and experiment with flavors to constantly improve the menu
- Work closely with management to control costs, set budgets, and maximize profits
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan special events or promotions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
- Creative vision when it comes to menu planning and dish presentation
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
Salary: $1100 per month
