Cashier
Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cashier to join our team in Ajman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process all transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems
- Ensure that all prices and quantities are accurate and up-to-date
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a timely manner
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock products as needed
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have a valid biometric passport for travel within the UAE
