Executive Chef - Malayalee Cuisine (Doha, Qatar)
We are excited to welcome an experienced Executive Chef to lead our team in creating authentic Malayalee cuisine in our restaurant in Doha, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, menu development, and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus featuring traditional Malayalee dishes with a modern twist
- Manage food cost and inventory control to ensure profitability
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or head chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Expertise in Malayalee cuisine with knowledge of traditional ingredients, recipes, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that attract customers
- Biometric passport preferred for ease of travel
Salary:
$1400 per month plus benefits including accommodation.
This is a full-time position for Malayalee nationals with legal working status in Qatar. Part-time or temporary employment will not be considered.
