Cashier - Manama, Bahrain
An established retail store in Manama is seeking a qualified Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with exceptional service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking when necessary
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints effectively
- Follow all company procedures regarding cash handling and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations
- Provide support with other tasks as needed by management
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Arabic) is preferred but not required
Salary: 1500$ per month + benefits
Location: Manama, Bahrain
