Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our team at a prestigious restaurant in Al-Khor. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, along with strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menu offerings that are both creative and in line with customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation and cooking techniques to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently served
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or ingredients to the menu
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with front-of-house staff
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
OR
Equivalent combination of education/training/experience
OR
Certification from a recognized culinary institute
Salary:
$1800/month (negotiable based on experience)

Al-Khor, Qatar (local candidates preferred)
Nationality:
Malayalee (preferred but not required)
