Indian Executive Chef in El-Ain
We are a busy restaurant in El-Ain and we are seeking a skilled Indian Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menu items, taking into consideration food cost and availability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to high standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create new dishes to add to the menu based on customer feedback and seasonal availability of ingredients
- Work closely with management to develop strategies for increasing restaurant profitability
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and modern trends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with menu planning, food cost control, inventory management, and ordering supplies
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
This is a full-time position but part-time applicants will also be considered. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who require it. We welcome applicants of all nationalities who have their own visa or are eligible for a work permit.
