Head Chef - Traditional Pakistani Cuisine (Malayalee preferred)
We are in search of a skilled Head Chef with expertise in traditional Pakistani cuisine to join our team in El-Ain. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen, creating menus, training and supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality food is consistently delivered to our guests.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant specializing in traditional Pakistani cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistani ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards during busy periods
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for creating delicious and authentic dishes
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes while incorporating traditional Pakistani flavors and techniques
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality of food preparation
- Oversee ordering of ingredients, monitoring inventory levels, and controlling food costs
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and prompt service to guests
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu planning when appropriate
Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)
