Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef in our high-end restaurant located in Manama, you will be responsible for creating and executing a delectable array of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Your passion for creating visually stunning and delicious desserts will be put to use in this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create dessert menus that align with our restaurant's concept and style
- Prepare all pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods from scratch using high-quality ingredients
- Ensure all desserts are consistently of the highest quality and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of pastry ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff on proper techniques for pastry preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen at all times following food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation styles
- Creativity in developing new dessert recipes while also being able to execute classic dishes flawlessly
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Salary:
