Head Chef
As a Head Chef in our restaurant located in Isa Town, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and lead a team of talented chefs. Your main responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to our high standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu items, taking into consideration customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are following food safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment
- Order supplies and manage inventory to minimize waste and control costs
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with management on budget planning and cost analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or dishes to keep our menu fresh
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious dishes that exceed customer expectations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1300 per month (dependent on experience)
