Office Assistant
Location: Bayan, Kuwait
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Bayan, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have a strong work ethic, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory, reorder when necessary
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and emails
- Prepare and send outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence
- File documents and maintain organized records
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry or invoicing
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
