Cashier - Al-Malikiyah, Syria (Contract)
A reputable retail store in Al-Malikiyah is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team on a contract basis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide them with prompt service
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
- Accept payments in various forms such as cash, credit cards, vouchers, and gift cards
- Issue receipts, change, and refunds as necessary
- Ensure all products are properly scanned and priced before finalizing transactions
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it at the end of each shift
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or relevant field is a plus
Working Conditions:
As this is a contract position, you will not be provided with accommodation. However, we offer competitive pay of 1000$ per month. Working hours may vary depending on the store's needs.
