Logistics Coordinator for Malayalees in Sharjah
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking shipments, and resolving any transportation-related issues.
Requirements:
- Must be a Malayalee with a valid biometric passport
- Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics coordination
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers
- Ensure timely delivery of goods by monitoring shipment schedules and tracking shipments
- Negotiate rates with carriers to secure cost-effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, shipping documents, etc.
- Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays that may arise
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment details, status updates, etc.
- Provide regular reports on transportation activities to management
