Pastry Chef
We are in search of an experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delectable desserts and pastries that will leave our customers wanting more. Your creativity and passion for pastry making will be put to the test as you develop new recipes and menu items that showcase your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping
- Design new dessert items to add to the menu
- Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented according to our standards
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative flair for developing new dessert recipes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Formal culinary training or degree is preferred
Salary:
