An upscale restaurant in Doha is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef specialized in Malayalee cuisine. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and authentic Malayalee dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of cooks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in a fine dining setting
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Malayalee cuisine
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to lead and train a team of cooks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Creativity and passion for creating unique dishes
Responsibilities:
- Develop new menus and dishes that showcase the flavors of Malayalee cuisine
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise cooks to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
Salary:
Starting salary of 1400$ per month with potential for increase based on performance.
