Indian Executive Chef in Sharjah
We are a reputable hotel in Sharjah seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative menus, managing food preparation and presentation, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a similar establishment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating and implementing menus that reflect our hotel's style and meet the expectations of our guests
- Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and ability to create unique dishes that cater to different dietary requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Good understanding of food cost control measures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport for ease of travel
