Head Chef
As the Head Chef at our premier restaurant in Sharjah, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operations and leading a team of talented chefs. We are seeking an experienced and passionate chef with a strong background in international cuisine, specifically Egyptian cuisine. Your creativity and expertise will be showcased through our diverse menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menu offerings that showcase authentic Egyptian cuisine while incorporating international influences
- Train, supervise, and mentor culinary staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients to maintain cost-effective operations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards
- Manage kitchen schedules, budgets, and staffing needs
- Collaborate with management on restaurant promotions and special events
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Egyptian cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and ingredient sourcing
- Proven ability to lead a team with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in English is required
- Experience working in international locations is preferred
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month for this position.
