Executive Pastry Chef
We are a luxury hotel located in the bustling city of Al Ahmadi, seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. As an Indian national, you will bring your expertise in creating delectable and visually stunning pastries to our internationally diverse guests. Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry menus for our restaurant and banquet events
- Oversee the production and presentation of pastries, desserts, and breads
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs on techniques and recipes
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques, flavors, and design
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other chefs
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Pastry/Baking program preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong portfolio showcasing pastries and desserts created by you
