Head Chef
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations in our high-end restaurant located in Manama, Bahrain. Your main goal will be to create and maintain a top-quality dining experience for our guests by consistently delivering delicious and visually appealing dishes. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create menus that are innovative, seasonal, and aligned with the restaurant's concept
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentations of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Adhere to food cost control measures while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for creating unique dishes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1300/month
