Florist – Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and talented Florist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be highly creative, have a great eye for detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Summary

The Florist is responsible for preparing and arranging all types of flower baskets and flower bouquets for various occasions. They must be able to hew direction and guidance to other workers and must be able to keep a neat and tidy work area.

Responsibilities

• Receive the flower shipment and arrange the flowers
• Create custom flower arrangements and bouquets based on the customer’s need
• Develop seasonal themes, creative flower arrangement and other special projects.
• Ensure the flowers are fresh and vibrant
• Maintain the work area in a neat and organized manner
• Assist with in-store promotions
• Assist with tasks related to operation and sales
• Assist with customer issues
