This person must be able to comprehend and accurately interpret complex technical drawings to ensure precision and adequate finishes with the machine. Responsibilities: • Establish meaningful programs instructions for CNC machines • Set plan dimensions and tolerances of components based on drawings and requirements • Set and modify cutting tools, speed, feed rate and position of machine • Monitor tool wear and adjust as necessary • Drilling, milling, reaming, facing, boring • Produce standard parts and components from raw stock using CNC machines • Monitor quality of parts and components under production • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC
