We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cashier to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately handling financial transactions and maintaining a high level of customer service.

We are seeking an individual who is highly organized, has strong problem-solving skills, and possess a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working as a Cashier, a good understanding of basic accounting principles, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate must meet the following Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a relevant role
• Understanding of customer service principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of mathematics
• Solid experience with electronic equipment (e.g., cash registers, scanners)
• Ability to use basic computer programs (e.g., spreadsheets)
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible availability – able to work weekends or late shifts if needed
• High school diploma; degree in finance, accounting or a related field is preferred but not required

The Cashier’s duties include but are not limited to:
• Greeting customers when they enter the store/restaurant/etc.
• Processing payments accurately by operating cash registers as well as credit/debit card terminals
• Counting money at the start and end of shifts
• Responding appropriately to customer complaints
• Updating price lists for all items on sale
• Keeping the checkout area clean and organized
• Verifying age for certain purchases (e.g., alcohol)
