We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Jabal-Ali. As the main point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and accurate record keeping. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail and be able to handle multiple tasks at once.
Job Description:
The Cashier is responsible for managing the cash register and providing excellent customer service. You will be expected to process payments, maintain accurate records, and provide customers with information about products or services. You must also be able to handle any complaints or questions from customers in a polite and professional manner.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent;
• Previous cash handling experience preferred;
• Familiarity with basic math skills;
• Ability to count money quickly and accurately;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment; • Flexibility to work varying shifts; • Willingness to learn new skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they enter the store and answer any questions they may have;
• Process payments using cash registers, credit cards, debit cards, checks, gift cards etc.;
• Issue receipts for all transactions;
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions;
• Check items purchased against itemized sales receipts;
• Pack items into bags or boxes as requested by customers;
• Answer customer inquiries regarding store policies and procedures;
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times;
• Handle customer complaints in an effective manner.
