Al-Kuwait is currently seeking a Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling cash transactions, and ensuring the security of the funds received by the store.

Job Description:
The Cashier position requires an individual with a friendly and outgoing personality capable of providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with numbers and money.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they enter the store and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Accurately handle cash transactions according to company policies
• Ensure the security of incoming funds by counting it accurately before accepting it
• Maintain a clean work area by properly organizing items on shelves or in cabinets
• Assist customers in locating items they are looking for within the store
• Follow company policies regarding returns, exchanges, or refunds promptly and accurately
• Balance cash register drawer at the end of each shift

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience working as a cashier in a retail environment preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with strong communication abilities
• Ability to handle large amounts of cash quickly and accurately
• Proficiency in basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc.
• Competency using computers for various tasks such as entering data into registers or making calculations using spreadsheets
