Financial Analyst – Abu-Dhabi
This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Abu-Dhabi. The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have excellent financial analysis skills, including experience working with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting. They should be able to think creatively, develop solutions and make sound recommendations based on data analysis. The candidate must also be highly organised, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
The role will involve working closely with management to provide financial analysis and support on strategic decisions. Responsibilities include analysing financial statements, preparing budgets and forecasts, conducting cost/benefit analysis of projects and providing regular reports on the performance of the company’s finances. The Financial Analyst will also be expected to review processes for cost effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement in internal controls and ensure that all funds are utilised effectively in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Abilities:
The successful candidate must have at least 3 years of relevant experience working in finance or accounting roles. A degree in finance or accounting is preferable but not essential if sufficient experience can be demonstrated. An understanding of UAE laws related to business activities is also desired but not mandatory. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities both verbally and written are essential for this role as well as advanced computer literacy including MS Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint).
