Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Beautician is to provide beauty treatments and services such as waxing, facials, manicures/pedicures, massage therapy, hair styling and coloring, makeup application and more. The Beautician will be responsible for greeting customers warmly upon their arrival at the salon/spa; consulting with them to determine their needs; providing them with information on products/services; recommending suitable treatments based on customer’s needs; performing treatments/services; maintaining cleanliness/sanitation standards in work area; managing appointment bookings; ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing complaints or concerns in a timely manner; handling payments; updating records of treatments provided; maintaining inventory of supplies/products used during treatments; stocking shelves with products/supplies when required; ordering new supplies when needed.

Required Qualifications And Competencies:
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification in cosmetology or a related field of study along with at least 1 year of professional experience in beauty therapy services. The candidate must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication skills both verbal and written as well as excellent customer service skills. In addition to this they must be up-to-date on all current trends in beauty services such as makeup application techniques or hair coloring products & styles etc., have good organizational skills with an eye for detail as well as being able to multi-task effectively while working under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
