Accountant - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts of the organization and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The position offers a competitive salary of 1300 (USD).

Job Description:
As an Accountant you will be responsible for a range of activities including; preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing investments, conducting audits, preparing taxes, and providing financial advice to management. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical requirements pertaining to finance.

Duties:
• Prepare financial statements and other reports as requested
• Monitor, analyze and report on cash flow
• Analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Develop systems for accurate financial record keeping
• Manage investments and provide financial advice to management
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy of records
• Prepare taxes in accordance with applicable laws
• Collaborate with other departments on budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop strategies to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or service

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years relevant experience in Accounting/Finance required
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Detail-oriented individual • Strong organizational skills • Strong communication skills (oral & written) • Ability to meet deadlines
