Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This is a full-time, salaried position offering a competitive salary of 1000. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while ensuring accuracy in all aspects of accounting and financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, payroll and revenue recognition.
• Ensure accuracy in financial statements and reports.
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, trial balances and other related documents.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare budget analysis reports for review by management.
• Assist with monthly close process including preparing journal entries as needed.
• Develop internal control policies and procedures for finance department staff to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on projects related to finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws/regulations related to accounting activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred
• At least 5 years' experience working as an accountant in an international organization or corporate environment
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues quickly
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of ERP systems preferred
