Accountant - Al-Kuwait

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This includes processing payments and invoices, preparing financial reports, and managing accounts payable. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and be willing to consider immigrants for the position.

Job Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a monthly basis
• Enter data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently
• Monitor expenses to ensure that they are within budgeted amounts
• Process payments, invoices, and receipts in a timely manner
• Research any discrepancies or errors in financial documents
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding finance and taxation
• Provide support to the finance team during audits or other special projects as needed.

Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage 50 is required
• Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) is essential
