Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a qualified Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This role will involve performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, assisting with financial and tax audits, and ensuring that all financial regulations are followed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy of documents related to financial transactions, as well as overseeing daily operations in the accounting department. The salary for this position is 1300 per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants with minimal work experience.
Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes preparing monthly financial reports, tracking accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll taxes, filing tax returns, verifying invoices and contracts, auditing expenditures, assessing internal controls, analyzing expenses against budgeted amounts, preparing budgets for departments or projects as needed. In addition to these duties the Accountant may also oversee accounts payable/receivable personnel or provide training in such areas.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position you should have a degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university. A CPA certification is preferred but not necessary. You must have experience using QuickBooks or similar software and be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You should also possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering timely results under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have a valid work permit if applying from outside of Kuwait; proficiency in English; excellent communication skills; knowledge of accounting standards; the ability to use Microsoft Office programs; the ability to think critically; strong problem-solving skills; proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar software; attention to detail; organizational skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; flexibility when it comes to work hours when needed; and a commitment to professional growth and development.
