Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to lead our restaurant kitchen operations, create innovative menus for our guests, and oversee the food preparation of all dishes. The Executive Chef will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations and management, including menu development, quality control, food safety, and sanitation standards. The position offers a competitive salary of 1300 per month. We are also ready to consider an immigrant for this position.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the culinary team in the creation of innovative dishes that reflect the quality and standards of our restaurant
• Develop strategies to reduce food costs while maintaining quality
• Develop comprehensive menus according to customer preferences
• Oversee the selection of ingredients, food preparation methods, portion sizes, presentation standards, and recipes
• Monitor staff performance on a daily basis and provide guidance as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment according to safety regulations
• Follow health codes and regulations regarding sanitation standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records for food supplies
• Plan staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-quality restaurant setting
• Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques/methods/cuisines as well as advanced baking skills
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and lead by example
• Great organizational skills with attention to detail
