Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Buyer in Al-Kuwait to join our team. As a Buyer you will be responsible for overseeing, managing and increasing the profitability of the company's purchases. This includes sourcing products, negotiating prices and terms, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. You will also be responsible for researching new suppliers and negotiating with them to obtain the best prices and services. You should be able to make decisions based on market research data and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements for the Candidate:
The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of market trends. A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred but not required. Prior experience working as a buyer is considered an asset. The ability to work independently while also being a part of a team is important in this role. Knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite is also desirable.
