Job Summary
Buyer - Al-Kuwait
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing purchasing activities and ensuring efficient delivery of products and services. This position requires at least 3 years of experience in procurement, with excellent knowledge of the local market.
Job Responsibilities
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve the best possible prices and terms
• Develop long-term relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain
• Evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate future needs
• Oversee inventory management activities including receiving, storing, and distributing products
• Ensure purchases meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations
• Develop procedures for purchasing materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential new suppliers or business opportunities
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in procurement or buying activities required
• Knowledge of the local market conditions is essential
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with vendors
Salary/Benefits
This position offers a salary of 1100 KD per month along with other benefits such as medical insurance coverage and paid vacation time. We are also willing to consider foreign applicants for this role.
